Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of rhodochrosite from Wisconsin!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of well-crystallized manganite that hosts a complex grouping of pink rhodochrosite crystals!!! These specimens were only recovered in a very small quantity over 40 years ago, as a result specimens are next to impossible to obtain today!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
