Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of rhodochrosite from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of pink rhodochrosite on matrix!!! The rhodochrosite is present as botryoidal crystals with rich pink color and a slightly sparkly, microcrystalline surface!!! The rhodochrosite shows curious angular "slices" across its surface which are the result of another species that has long since dissolved - leaving behind this unique, curiously attractive feature!!!
