Description/Interesting Notes: An old, rare locality example of rhodochrosite from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a complex rhomb of handsome pink rhodochrosite!!! The rhodochrosite has rich pink color and areas of marked translucence!!! This specimen retains an old Schortmann's label with notation on the reverse that mentions "gift of R. M. Miller" and "W. D. Nevel of Andover, Maine"!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
