Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare and sought after calcite varietal from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a striking showing of lustrous, translucent pink crystals of manganoan calcite in association with razor-sharp, gemmy quartz crystal points and a lustrous golden yellow sphalerite crystal!!! There is also an unidentified mineral that is reminiscent of dendritic native silver that has been altered to various sulphides!!! These specimens often get misidentified as rhodochrosite, however this is indeed manganoan calcite!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays gorgeously!!!
