Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific pair of rhodochrosite crystals from Mont St. Hilaire!!! This is a pair of two individual crystals of rhodochrosite with some other species in minor association!!! The crystals exhibit the unique, characteristic habit commonly seen from this locality!!! The crystals have rich pink color with marked translucence and luster!!! The triangular faces on the crystals seem to be highlighted by thin zones of dark, reddish-brown rhodochrosite!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there are some other species present (natrolite etc) in minor association as well!!! The pics hardly do them justice!!!
