Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rhodochrosite from Peru!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of scalenohedral rhodochrosite crystals in association with a lone quartz crystal!!! The rhodochrosite crystals have sharp, lustrous faces with marked clarity and rich pinkish-red color!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
