Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rhodochrosite from this famed German locality!!! This old time beauty consists of a thick vein of intensely colored, cherry-red rhodochrosite that hosts a significant portion of exposed crystals!!! The crystals exhibit a highly complex, slightly rounded habit characteristic of the locale!!! The crystals have marked translucence as well!!! However the most striking feature of this specimen is the crystals' color - it is absolutely incredible!!! The color simply does not get any finer!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
