Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of rhodochrosite from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a showy cluster of highly complex rhodochrosite crystals
on matrix!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! The crystals have brilliantly
glassy faces and have gorgeous intense bink color!!! The outer edge of some of the crystals is selectively accented with a light
orange hue which is a very interesting detail as well!!! The crystals range in size to well over 1.3cm and are complete and
undamaged all around!!! There are a couple tiny crystals of galena and pyrite in association as well!!! These
old time Santa Eulalia rhodochrosites date to the 1970's and are seldom seen on the market in such quality today!!!
Very showy in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!!
We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer
