Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of rhodochrosite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts several rhodochrosite crystals in association with very pale green
fluorite crystals on a matrix of tiny quartz points!!! The rhodochrosite crystals range in size up to 1cm and have outer zones of
opaque pink with gemmier red cores!!! The fluorite crystals have a very pale, almost colorless, green color and
are present as highly complex forms partially embedded in the quartz crystals!!! Classic old time material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
