Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of rhodonite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a large mass of pink rhodonite with a small amount of quartz and scattered inclusions of sulphides!!! The rhodonite has a handsome rich pink color!!! Upon close inspection there is a small vug that hosts some quartz crystals as well as a couple tiny light pink crystals of rhodonite!!! This specimen if from the personal collection of noted Butte collector Bob Jenkins and retains his original collection label with corresponding catalogue number as well as an additional unattributed label!!!
