Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of rhodonite from Sterling Hill!!! While the rhodonite specimens from Franklin can be quite extraordinary, notable examples from nearby Sterling Hill are somewhat scarce!!! This large specimen hosts an impressive cluster of acute, spikey, pink crystals of rhodonite set in white calcite!!! There is also a large "blade" of pink rhodonite along one edge of the specimen!!! This is an outstanding example of rhodonite for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
