Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique example of rhodochrosite after serandite from Mont Saint Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a group of parallel
serandite crystals that have been completely replaced by pink rhodochrosite crystals with numerous natrolite crystals in association!!!
The specimen retains the original form of the serandite crystals in sharp detail, however upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one
can see that he specimen is made up of a network of tiny, intergrown rhodochrosite crystals!!! There are numerous
prismatic crystals of natrolite perched on some of the crystal faces as well!!! This specimen has a gorgeous, rich pink color and
displays magnificently in person!!! Simply a gorgeous pseudomorph from this famed locale!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MAY 3rd!!!
