A unique example of a fossilized snail that has been replaced by rhodochrosite!!! This specimen consists of a sharp snail fossil that has
been replaced by pink rhodochrosite!!! Usually these rhodochrosite replacements have color that could barely be recognized as rhodochrosite - being
a very drab almost tan color - however this specimen is a definite pink color!!! The snail exhibits some translucence as well!!! Simply a magnificent
example of this rare occurence!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
