Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of roeblingite from Franklin!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of roeblingite in association with characteristic
Parker shaft assemblage!!! The roeblingite actually occupies a significant portion of the specimen - consisting of an irregular nodule
that shows on nearly every side of the specimen (as you can see from the fluorescent pics)!!! There are several other species
in association - xonotlite, clinohedrite, hendricksite, among others!!! There numerous curious features and areas of crystalline material to be
seen under close inspection with a loupe or scope as well!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare and sought after Franklin species!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 10th!!!
