Description/Interesting Notes:
A VERY rare example of this indium bearing species from Japan!!! This specimen consists of a mass of chalcopyrite that hosts a rich showing of roquesite!!!
The roquesite is present as tiny grayish grains and masses within the chalcopyrite!!! This specimen originally came from a larger specimen owned by
Dr. Matsubara in Japan (then to Forrest Cureton, to Sidney Williams, to Dr. Garske, to Tony Nikischer, and then to us)!!!
This material is exceedingly rare indeed!!! Simply a magnificent example of this rare species!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 5th!!!
