Description/Interesting Notes:
This is an ABSOLUTELY amazing example of rose quartz from this famed locality!!! This specimen consists of a very large (20cm!) showing of
rich pink rose quartz aesthetically displayed on a large, complex partial quartz crystal framed by dense clusters of albite crystals!!! In person this specimen
is much more dramatic than the pictures show and it immediately brings to mind a pink waterfall gracefully flowing down a stepped landscape!!! The
rose quartz is very well crystallized, undamaged, and has wonderful pink color!!! It was quite
difficult to capture in the photos, however this specimen is an amazing
display specimen indeed!!!! It displays magnificently from numerous angles of course - however the "waterfall" position is one that has elicited numerous "wow"s from
fellow collectors!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around!!! This specimen came out of old collection material that dates to
the 1960's and earlier - this is OLD Brazillian material from the famed Ilha claim, located on a small island in the
Jequitinhonha river!!! The pics hardly do this amazing specimen justice - must be seen in person to be fullly appreciated!!! Don't miss out on this HUGE & STUNNING
