Rose Quartz included with Rutile & Unknown Ilha claim, Taquaral, Itinga, Jequitinhonha valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil 5.64cm x 4.26cm x 2.33cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, old time example of rose quartz with rutile inclusions!!! This specimen consists of a very fine, well crystallized cluster of undamaged rose quartz crystals that host a significant network of rutile inclusions and has an unidentified white mineral in association as well!!! The rose quartz crystals are sharp, complex, lustrous and translucent!!! The crystals have a rich pink color that is partially influenced by needle-like inclusions of rutile!!! While it is difficult to see in the photos, in person it is much easier to see the fine, yellow pin-straight crystals of rutile included within!!! This specimen is completely clean on the outside - all of the coloration is within the crystals - the orangey color is entirely the result of networks of the needle-like inclusions!!! This is the only such included example of rose quartz I have ever seen!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! The unknown associated species is quite intruiging as well!!!
