Description/Interesting Notes: An old, rare locality example of rose quartz from Rhode Island!!! This specimen consists of a sizeable mass of gem-quality rose quartz in association with thin, sharply deliniated band of slightly tan, more opaque quartz!!! The rose quartz has rich pink color and a marked glowing translucence!!! This specimen retains old labels from the Michigan College of Mines and A.E.
