This specimen came from a single large boulder that produced a number of the finest specimens from this rare small find!!! These fine Cascade Canyon specimens represent what are some of the finest examples of ruby seen from California!!! This specimen hosts several significant ruby crystals that measure in size to .85cm!!! The crystals are sharply formed, consisting of both hexagonal prisms and tabular crystals!!! The crystals have significant luster, a rich purplish red hue and marked translucence!!! This is an exceptional specimen from this locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
