Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of this prized gem species from Afghanistan!!! This specimen hosts prominent, intensely colored crystals of
ruby on characteristic marble calcite matrix in association with pyrite and clinohumite!!! The main crystal exhibits a complex, pseudo-octahedral habit
and measures 1.4cm!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces with marked clarity and intense pink-red color!!! The main crystal has areas of
significant clarity that ranges from translucent to gemmy!!! In addition to the fine ruby crystals there is a complexly etched
crystal of brilliantly metallic golden pyrite and a complex light yellowish crystal of clinohumite present as well!!! Simply
a fantastic example of this prized species!!! Specimen is in fantastic condition and displays gorgeously all around!!!
