Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of ruby from California!!! This specimen hosts a particularly large crystal from this seldom referenced locality!!!
This specimen hosts a chunky, 1cm ruby crystal in association with numerous other smaller crystals!!! The main crystal is prominently
perched on the matrix and has sharp, lustrous faces!!! The crystals have a purplish red hue and marked translucence!!! This
specimen came from a single large boulder that produced a number of the finest specimens from this rare small find!!! Upon
close inspection there are several other species in association, including fuschite, graphite, pyrite, and at least two or three
unidentified species as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 18th!!!
