Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of rutile from Norway!!! This specimen hosts large, blocky portions of crystalline rutile on a small amount of matrix!!! The rutile is quite lustrous and has some dark reddish brown highlights as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Michigan College of Mines (A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum) as well as a affixed catalogue numbers as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Old material!!!
