Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of rutile from this classic locality!!! This specimen hosts a complex single crystal of rutile on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystal has sharp, undamaged faces with brilliant luster!!! The crystal has dark reddish color and is loaded with flashy reddish highlights within!!! The color and internal play of light are way better than the pictures show!!! The crystal shows some complex twinning as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
