Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of rutile from Virginia!!! This specimen consists of a complex, sharply twinned crystal of rutile!!! The crystal exhibits terrific crystallization all around and the twinning is quite pronounced!!! The crystal has good luster and reddish brown highlights throughout!!! This specimen retains an old A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum label and affixed catalogue number!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
