An intensely colored crocoite specimen from Tasmania. This specimen exhibits a unique habit where, instead of being a thatch-work of intersecting prismatic crystals, the crystals are present as a harlequin pattern of slightly compressed crystals. The crystals show the typical intense orange-red color, glassy luster, and sharp termination. A very aesthetic and unique crocoite specimen indeed. Much better than the pics show, very showy in person.
