An absolutely amazing specimen from Tsumeb! There is so much going on with this specimen that I don't even know where to begin. Let me just say that this specimen is way better than the pics, and simply needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The blue coloration of the serpierite is a much richer robin's egg blue in person, and the same goes for the lively bluish green coloration of the devilline. When closely examined, one can see that the devilline exists both as tiny, velvety acicular balls as well as druzy patches of platy crystals. One can also find numerous tiny quartz points in different areas throughout the specimen. A very aesthetic specimen, in addition to being crystallographically fascinating!
