Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of samarskite from Madagascar!!! This specimen consists of a stout, complex single crystal of samarskite!!! The crystal is largely complete with some areas having sharp, slmost lustrous faces and others having a somewhat rough appearance that - in person - can actually have a slightly velveteen luster in areas!!! There are also some tiny areas that have marked clarity as well!!! Simply a fantastic samarskite from Madagascar!!! This specimen is from the collection or Ernie Schlicter!!!
