Sanrománite with Juangodoyite Santa Rosa Mine, Santa Rosa-Huantajaya District, Iquique Province, Tarapacá Region, Chile 2.18cm x 1.95cm x 1.12cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of the rare species sanrománite with juangodoyite from the type locality for both in Chile!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of blue juangodoyite in association with numerous colorless acicular crystals of sanrománite!!! The sanrománite are more plentiful than the pictures show, however they are colorless and can only be seen in the pictures when the light is reflecting off them!!! While the jaungodoyite is generally present as somewhat amorphous blebs, there are several examples where the juangodoyite has replaced chalconatronite crystals throughout the specimen!!! This is a fantastic example of both species with rich, prominent showings of both species present in aesthetic association!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
