Description/Interesting Notes:
An amazing, old time collection of sapphire crystals from Montana!!! This is a collection of seven individual crystals!!!
Let me start off by saying that these are all OLD, unheated crystals of exceptional quality!!! The crystals have fantastic NATURAL
colors with significant size and gem clarity!!! This is a valuable lot if only for its gem rough value!!! The crystals are much more
crystalline than the pictures show - with crystalline features being much more apparent in person (i.e. hexagonal outlines, oriented faces, trigons, etc.)!!!
The largest crystal has fantastic natural blue color with gem clarity, weighs 7.6 carats, and measures nearly 1cm in every direction - this is a KILLER specimen in
and of itself!!! The second largest crystal also has great natural blue color!!! There is also a notable pink crystal and a yellow crystal that are
quite impressive as well!!! There is a lavender crystal, a pale blue, and a colorless crystal present as well!!! The colors are all WAY better
than the pics show!!! While these specimens have intrinsic value as "gem rough" and are valuable as such,
these are exceptional SPECIMENS above and beyond their gem rough value!!! These specimens are from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and
retain their original label (notes seven crystals) and affixed catalogue number as well!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing them justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 4th!!!
