Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a rich mass of lively, translucent red schallerite in association with a small amount of yellowish willemite and franklinite!!! The schallerite has a showy red color and shows marked translucence!!! Upon close inspection, there appear to be some lustrous, well defined crystal faces present as well!!! Additionally, there are also some small areas where some cleavage-like features can be seen as well!!! This specimen was confirmed via XRD!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
