Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of scheelite on schorl tourmaline from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a bright orange crystal of gemmy scheelite perched atop a matrix of jet-black schorl tourmaline!!! The 1.4cm scheelite crystal has a highly complex, etched octahedral habit that has bright glassy luster and glowing, gemmy clarity!!! Despite its complex features, the crystal is in terrific condition!!! The crystal has striking color and a deep, gemmy glow inside!!! The jet-black tourmaline crystal matrix really sets it off nicely!!! Simply an incredible old time Mexican beauty!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
