Description/Interesting Notes: A superb, old time example of scheelite from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a showy, golden-orange scheelite crystal prominently perched on a quartz matrix!!! The crystal exhibits some highly complex features but is actually complete and in fantastic condition (what might appear to be a break in some of the pics is actually a completely natural feature and in person this is immediately apparent)!!! The crystal measures 2cm and the specimen displays fantastically!!! The crystal has bright glassy luster, marked translucence, and intense color!!! This is a killer example of the species for the locality!!! Rare old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
