Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of quartz and scheelite from South Korea!!! This specimen consists of a single quartz crystal with a
sharp, octahedral crystal of scheelite prominently perched on its side!!! The quartz crystal has sharp faces and glassy luster!!!
Upon close inspection, one can see some highly complex features visible on the quartz crystal's faces!!! Additionally, it appears that
part of the scheelite crystal is included within the quartz crystal when viewed through the opposite side!!! The scheelite
crystal is sharp, glassy, and translucent!!! With adequate lighting, one can see that the scheelite
has a significant area of light smoky, translucence!!! Additionally, there is a small amount of
darkly colored ferberite partially included in the quartz crystal as well!!! This specimen is complete and in magnificent condition all around!!! This
specimen is from the personal collection of Howard Belsky and retains his original collection label as well!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
