Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of scheelite from the Ortiz Mine!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex single crystal of orange scheelite!!! Crystals from this locality seldom reach any meaningful size, and rarely exhibit good crystallization!!! This specimen has good luster and intense color!!! Much of what might appear to be damage in the pictures is actually just complexity!!! This specimen retains its original Hantsch mount with labelling!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
