Scheelite Komagatake, Kai, Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu Region, Honshu Island, Japan 1.13cm x 1.11cm x 1.05cm Ex. Neil A. Wintringham Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, and unusual example of scheelite from a seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen consists of a single crystal of near colorless scheelite!!! The crystal has an unusually elongated habit with lustrous, striated faces and a curiously flattened termination!!! The crystal has near gemmy translucence and is very bright and lively in person!!!
