Scheelite Kern Co., California 2.2cm x 1.45cm x 1.4cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of gem scheelite from California!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex single crystal of scheelite!!! The crystal is a complete floater with no point of attachment!!! This crystal has a somewhat velvety luster due to complex surface features, however there are a few glassy faces that allow one to see into the crystal - which is remarkably gemmy!!! This specimen could likely yield faceted material if so desired!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Of course this specimen fluoresces brightly as well!!!
