Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic group of tourmaline crystals from this rare locality!!! This is a group of six individual specimens!!! The crystals exhibit a curious, button-like
habit and are doubly terminated!!! The crystals are fantastic representations of the species for the locality!!! The crystals have sharp, complex, glassy faces and
jet-black color!!! The crystals all seem to have classic terminations on one side while the reverse is complexly terminated, often with several other
species in association!!! The largest crystal hosts several intergrown crystals of ilmenite on the reverse!!! Upon close inspection the ilmenite crystals are
quite well formed and sharp!!! The crystals also host several other species including whitish apatite crystals, clinochlore, actinolite, rutile, and some
unidentified species!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope these specimens are quite fascinating indeed!!! This group of specimens came from the
collection of Bob Drift!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 9th!!!
