Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of schorl tourmaline from this seldom referenced Montana locality!!! This specimen consists of a striking group of highly complex jet-black shorl tourmaline crystals in association with a starkly contrasting matrix of white feldspar!!! The schorl crystals have bright, glassy luster and have highly complex terminations on one end and fine, needle-like growths on the other!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J.
