Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of selenite from New York!!! This specimen hosts a cluster of sharp, lustrous selenite crystals prominently perched on a thin plate of matrix!!! The crystals are complete and exhibit sharply defined fishtail twinning and jet-black phantoms within!!! The crystals have sharp faces, glassy luster, and gemmy clarity!!! This is a magnificent example of the species from New York!!! The largest crystal measures 1.7cm!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
