Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of selenite replacing a fossil snail from Australia!!! This specimen consists of a sharply defined, gemmy selenite replacement of a fossillized turritella snail shell!!! This specimen is very well formed and has lively play of light within, gemmy clarity, and flashes of luster on the outer surface!!! There appears to be a few small areas of unreplaced fossil snail shell present as well!!! This specimen is quite fascinating in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
