Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time example of antigorite var. williamsite from this historic Pennsylvania locale!!! This specimen
consists of a cut and polished mass of particularly fine, emerald green, translucent antigorite var.
williamsite in association with jet-black chromite!!! This is amazing material, as it has
very fine gemmy translucence and fine emerald green color - the color is way better than the pics show!!!
This material could almost be mistaken for emerald at first glance!!! Material of such
quality is quite scarce indeed!!! Old material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the
collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and
there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer
collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
