Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of shattuckite from Ajo!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of dense, gem grade crystalline shattuckite!!! The shattuckite is present as intergrown sprays of intense blue acicular crystals!!! There is a small amount of an unidentified blue-green mineral present and some reddish cuprite present as well!!! The crystals are quite striking upon close inspection!!! Simply gorgeous old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!!
