Shattuckite with Quartz Kaokoveld Plateau, Kunene Region, Namibia 3.54cm x 2.45cm x 1.37cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of shattuckite and quartz from Kaokveld!!! This specimen of a layer of bright intense royal blue shattuckite that has been coated by sharp water-clear quartz points!!! The quartz points are included with shattuckite which has resulted in a profoundly more intense color than one normally sees for the species!!! The shattuckite is completely covered by quartz points - there is a fine layer of microcrystalline quartz crystals covering all of the shattuckite and then there are other slightly larger quartz crystals that are included by shattuckite and scattered about!!!
