Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of siderite from a new find in Peru!!! This specimen consists of a showy matrix of brassy, complex chalcopyrite crystals that hosts fantastic display of siderite crystals!!! The crystals are prominently perched, complete and undamaged!!! The main siderite crystal measures an impressive 3cm!!! The siderite crystals have some complex modifications that are really quite handsome, and have an almost velvety luster and glowing translucence!!! The crystals are really quite attractive in person!!! This was among one of the best examples I had seen from this new find!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
