Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of siderite from this historic French locale!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of sharp, lustrous, golden-tan crystals of siderite in association with a few scattered quartz points!!! The siderite crystals consist of sharp, complex rhombs with outstanding glassy luster and marked translucence that has an almost fiery appearance within!!! The crystals are particularly fine - this is a very showy example of the species indeed!!! This specimen retains an old affixed label as well!!! OLD material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
