Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of siderite from this historic Connecticut locality!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a face covered with characteristic brown siderite crystals accented by tiny, sparkling calcite crystals!!! The siderite crystals consist of sharp rhombs covered by smaller, slightly curveaceous rhombs that have lighter colored, root-beer brown highlights!!! Classic old time material!!!
