Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of siderite from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a stalactitic growth of botryoidal siderite crystals!!! The siderite is quite finely crystallized and exhibits a very showy and dynamic, shimmering luster in person!!! The siderite has a varied hue that has an almost iridescent quality to it in person!!! When viewed on edge one can see that the underlying siderite has an almost olive color with some marked translucence!!! These unique siderite specimens came from a very limited find during a short time in the 1960's!!! Rare and unique old time material from Bisbee!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
