Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of rare zincian siderite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts a rich and striking showing of sharp, brilliant, gemmy crystals of intensely colored zincian siderite!!! The crystals are complete and in fantastic condition all around!!! The crystals exhibit highly complex habits with brilliantly lustrous faces, gemmy clarity, and intense reddish amber color!!! The crystals are somewhat reminiscent of a fine South African rhodochrosite in terms of quality and overall aesthetics, however this is much rarer material!!! The crystals have a dynamic and fiery play of light within!!! This specimen is from the collection of Howard Belsky!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
