Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent combination of rare species on amazing lapidary shattuckite from this rare, old time locale!!! This
specimen consists of a dense, solid mass of silicified, lapidary grade shattuckite in association with
other colorful species - giving this specimen an extraordinary range of intense blue and blue green colors that is unlike
any other material in the mineral kingdom!!! These historic specimens from Navojoa have
produced some of the most extraordinary examples of lapidary shattuckite (etc) that are unlike anything I have ever seen!!!
In addition to being very rare and valuable lapidary material - this specimen hosts an incredible variety of rare
species including a significant showing of whitish, platy crystals of sillenite, lime-green mottramite var. duhamelite,
some tiny dark green crystals of namibite, light blue ajoite, and a group of sharp, glassy quartz points that host
inclusions of shattuckite within them!!! This specimen retains an old label from Sid Williams (with Sillenite being the first
species listed and a hefty price tag as well)!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JANUARY 10th!!!
