Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of native silver from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a complex network of intergrown native silver crystals in association with a small amount of matrix and minor acanthite!!! The native silver crystals exhibit some highly complex forms with numerous characteristic spear-shaped spinel-law twins!!! There are two dramatically elongated crystals present that show some very intruiging morphology indeed!!! The individual definition of the crystals is much more distint and sharp than the pics show!!! The crystals have sharp faces with bright metallic luster and an attractive, slightly golden "antique" patina!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
